sorry about that, J. i wondered about that. see you tomorrow... PLEASE CALL ME if i'm five minutes late... Heck, calll me on your way down. I'll bet your cellphone minutes aren't counted at that hour! Since I've been having a lot of trouble getting to Bible Study (allmyfaultsosorry), would you hold me accountable and shoot me a call those mornings if you wonder (and even if you dont)? All you guys can! I'm in a season right now where one week i'm on a trip to Philly, one week to VA, one week to NY, last night up above Dayton... The placement season is GRUELING... So I have a lot more trouble getting up and remembering to set my alarm correctly... I'll need your help until I can get on a more solid footing.
I suspect you didn't get my email from last week. The bottom line of that email is, I'm done with early morning stuff. If you will forgive me for being blunt publicly, missing as much as you have in the last 3 months is not busy, it's simple forgetfulness. If it is that easy for you to forget, it's not that important. Despite your words, you actions attest to the fact that you really don't give a rat's tail, and that's fine. I hope you are not dectecting any anger here, buecase there is not any, just a simple evaluation. In any event, I hope you and the rest of the boys have fruitful discussions and fellowship. I, however, am too busy to waste my time, and too frugal to drop >$5 every week to have Bible study 1/2 of the time. And yes I refused to call. I ain't your parents and I do not need to be expected to set your alarm for you, so to speak. -jjs
Oh Justin, I'm SO SORRY!!! You're right. I devalued our time together when I didn't come. I really DO care a LOT about 6am bible studies. I have failed, and am serious about pressing through for faithfulness to this committment. I know that with the guys' help, I'll probably never miss again, I'm just not used to needing that kind of reminder...
i didn't plan on needing so much parenting, but that's where i am. I understand that this has been unacceptable. All I can do is say I'm sorry. I hope you and I will be together at table soon, and put this all behind us.
